Healthy Food Choices, reduce the cancer risk, prioritize a healthy lifestyle that includes a balanced diet.

    Physical activity: Engage in regular physical activity to maintain a healthy weight, this can help reduce the risk of several kinds of cancer!

      Preventative measures: Sun safety. Protect yourself from harmful uv rays. use sunscreen, wear protective clothing and avoid prolonged sun exposure.










        Tobacco use: Best to avoid all forms of tobacco, including smoking as well as smokeless products and e-cigarettes.














        Alcohol Consumption:  Limiting or avoiding alcohol can help lower your cancer risk with certain types of cancers.  Alcohol may be linked to an increased risk of cancers of the mouth, throat, esophagus, liver, breast, and colorectum.  








        Regular checkups: Regular Doctor visits are so important. Don't forget to tell the Doctor if you have noticed any unusual changes in your body, report any changes immediately!






        HPV  Vaccination:  The Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine is highly effective at preventing certain cancers caused by HPV infections. 

        • HPV and Cancer: HPV infections are a common cause of six types of cancer: cervical, anal, vaginal, vulvar, penile, and oropharyngeal (throat) cancers.
        •  The HPV vaccine works by protecting against the types of HPV that are responsible for the majority of these cancers
